Blur blur day =_=

Today suppose morning have to attend a 2 hrs free talk held by ChartNexus. Rushing to Cititel cos it gonna start at 10am and when I still at home, it was still raining drizzlingly...I overslept..very very lazy to wakeup..but first time attend such talk so no choice, since i choose it and registered it. So? Ma wakeup lo..

Rush out from house at 910am and luckily the traffic is not as jam as life at Kuala Lumpur or Petaling Jaya. Is also my first time finding this hotel without GPS but then google map printed copy @_@ Reached around 937am. HaHaHa! Pretty fast hor...

I was holding the printed copy of the changed venue cos it suppose to be at Gurney Hotel but due to overwhelming participant, therefore they reschedule to Cititel. I parked my car, the rain almost stop, then walked to the lobby straight to the lift and reach the function room. I saw no reception was there, and the room was dark without a single shadow! Then ...SH*T lo! I still not awake, I thought they change room, so I walked to another room, still holding my info on my hand..

Saw a reception counter, see many people walk in but ...all children @_@ and all wear in very casual! None of their attire make me feel that they are people from the investment/ finance background..walaoyeh.. Then, I walked to the women who sat infront of the reception, asking her what is the function about..then ...she told me something different from what I expected...Jialat! Then I looked at the paper which I kept holding on hand but just checking on the venue place but not date?! OMG!!! Is tomorrow! "3 Oct 2010 (Sunday)" Walaoyeh...then I so embarrass and walked back to the carpark..

I was hungry but the surrounding was so new to me  (cos 1st time ma) so, no choice. With my super car plus super women inside the car =P so, I rounded the area and started my food hunt, try to find something special or something new. Then rounded around the town area, miss out some street even I saw there some hawker or local food, trying to turn back but then...too bad...I failed..=(

I passed by a junction and saw the noodle was pileup so high..and some car park roadside call for take away...so I decided to turn to the small street, parked my car and overcome my curiosity :P The rain is yet to stop, but who care?! Since I'm hungry and I already out at town, I will not turn back! (stubborn me :P)

Is a shop with plenty of seat available either to dine indoor or outdoor (shaded). I've choosen to walked into the indoor. While waiting, I was so curious whether is this a shop or a temple? Cos I saw alot of statue and allow diner to pray. Anyway, I just snapshot since waiting for my order.

So, I simply order Hokkien Mee & my favourite drink (Almond) ! Since their signature is Hokkien Mee so I followed and try a small bowl lo. HaHaHa! They served pretty fast. Once they served it, it looks so similar like the prawn noodle (har mee) we used to order at KL. After tasted it, realized that actually is same just different term.

not salty just nice but not spicy too..but overall is ok. I like the fishball. - RM3.00 (small)

my hot almond  ^_^ - RM1.70

After finished my meal, while walking out, I took a side photo of the shop. It show 'original Hokkien Prawn Noodle'. But not sure the Penang people know whether is real 'original' not?? But I also see people eating 'Lam Mee', it looks great with different topping. Perhap next round will try it :P

while waiting for traffic light, I snap another shot of the front view.

then another view of Princ3ssAngi3 ^_^ while driving in the car waiting traffic light :P

The I rounded almost 70% side of Penang. Finding where should be my next destination. Then I pass Lorong Perak, heard bout this place but forgotten who told me this place. Anyway, along the street there's many hawker food and the traffic there abit bad cos small road and people use to make their order by side parking (illegal park). So, I ma followed their trend lo..park road side too! HaHa! Trying to see what's the famous food at that area.

I saw old man making the popiah skin when I passing by before I parked my car, so I walked to the place to clear my doubt again :P So, once I stopped by, I saw the old man used his fist fully covered with flour and make a round circle on the flat plate (how they cook the flour and make the popiah skin). It was amazing, cos first time see people use fist as a tool and was so close to the heat plate! Really impressed, but they are doing traditional way without any machine. Selling only the white popiah skin and not ready to eat. >_< so pass it go for next! While walking see 2 similar face sitting there blur blur having brunch. So, I walked toward them..Small world, my little so-called cute 'biao-di' & handsome Eric was there too! HaHaHa! So, I sit down and bullshit a while with them until they finish their meal then we split and I continue my exploration journey.

It was 12+noon, and supposingly I wanted to round the island for pet & groomer shop hunt mission for my beloved pet. Found a few but the demand are not so high as KL/ PJ. TOo bad...so I reached Prangin Mall for first time too! HaHa! Reached around 1230noon then ended back at 5pm. I also don't know how can I tahan (last) so long with my 3 inch high heel shoe! I shopped around, can't imagine myself really do my shopping inside, this mall was just like Sg. Wang. I don't go Sg. Wang and have no mood to window shopbut here, I was shopping and dining at the same place for almost 4 hrs!

There's another place I would like to recommend for food. Is located inside the Prangin Mall. Called J.L. Gourmet Cafe. They served western and some local cuisine, but ofcos coffee is their trademark! I tried on their chef recommended specialty - Our Mothers Fish Curry with Benggali bread! Nice and yummy! The curry fish was so gravy and taste good! Served best with bread! But you can change to rice if you don't like the bread.

before my engine start! Ke!ke! Ke! =P
The fish & the lady finger - RM9.50

I tried my best to finish all the thing inside the bowl but left the bread..sorry, wasted food..1 person cannot finish la...served best for twin sharing! ^_^

After my lunch & tea time. I continued shop until 5pm only leave the mall. My feet started to feel pain with the high heel. So, upon exit, I have to pay the carpark fare. I passed my ticket to the cashier. An indian women she did not turn on the machine to display the total charge but just asked for RM9. I paid her RM10 and she return me RM1 in balance. But after that, I asked her for the receipt. I can see her face expression weird.. then she pass my another RM1 syilling.I told she forgotten she had given me the change, so I did not take the money and repeat again for receipt. She acted abit weird but just to pass the syilling again and asked me to take the money! Then she passed me the receipt. Guess what?! The receipt was charging RM8 but she wan earn additional RM1 to her own pocket! Then she said RM8. Walaoyeh! This is professional tricky cashier!

In conclusion, I highly urge everyone who hardly ask for receipt at any place should always ask for it! Although it might be a waste and not so 'green' & ECO but then, you never know there's such similar tricky cashier! I wonder whether the receipt got print her name then I can get the management to take some action on it in future.

Although is a bit blur in the morning but I find my day quite enjoy and also in return I wrote the longest post I ever written among all! =P
