It a Wednesday, therefore me and my partner already decide to watch movie and spend our night there. There's many movie available but then also don't know why ended choosing this movie call - Buried.
Walaoyeh! The movie started at 945pm. Even is Wednesday and the ticket cost RM6 per person but we got quite a nice seat, the hall is small. But the hall was full! So, I bet everything also eagerly to watch the movie. Basically the movie is about a guy being ambushed caught up inside a wooden made coffin at somewhere Iraq without any help from the outside and contact with anyone. But eventually, there's a Blackberry cellphone also 'package' inside the coffin, with a pen and liqour bottle, a Zippo lighter and etc! The Blackberry battery life left 3 blocks and is in vibrating mode. So, he been making numerous call to the outsider seeking for help but in the end, he died inside the coffin and the rescuer fail to find him but got into another wrong coffin which also been buried 3 weeks ago. Then, movie show the-end. =_='''
This movie is worse, I'll tell you why...
The movie started with a dark dark screen but a man breathing sound...okla...cos the banner also showing this ma "6 ft underground. 90 minutes oxygen. A cell phone." Make sense lo is dark, cos the actor was caught in the wood made box, a coffin like box.
At first I still watching patiently on the dark boxes where this fella caught in the container. Cos whole screen is a while dark then a while with some light. Where the light come's from? KNS...the actor lighting his Zippo inside the coffin wo...=_='''
So, basically I can remember quite clearlywhat object visible in the whole movie (which is inside the wooden coffin). A Zippo lighter, a snake, a mini liquor, some sort of pill in small container, a glow stick, a watch, a Blackberry cellphone, a knife, a pencil a pen and a torchlight. I think this movie can use for the kid below 6 years old to learn good memory and seeing object but perhap need filter out all the rude word used! HaHaHa! >_<
After 30 mins watching the actor inside the box, dark & bright with and without Zippo, walaoyeh! So I thought perhap will shoot some people which he trying to make call and seek for help. Like the FBI, his wife, his mum, his CRT office, or the Dave or even the Iraq bad guy who trying to hostage him and get money from the America government. But ended, ONLY him in the box?!
Then we continue watched and waited for the next surprises. Who know...lagi shit! His next object used, the glow stick & Blackberry cellphone, the torch light and the pen all show up. Ofcos also with few 'k-leh feh' whom he called using the Blackberry.
I was speechless when the movie playing almost 1 hr plus but yet still watching the fella inside the box with darkness. I can't even able to recognize how he look like until the movie end. =_='''
I think the actor sure very upset, whole movie even he 1 fella acting as whole but then we as the audience was not able to recognize his face?! Really a waste man!
Ofcos, this movie brought some moral and message. But I think all movie nowaday also have such feature, but doesn't mean the director shoot only 1 fella solo for the whole movie?! Luckily is RM6 promo else I sure ask for refund.
Therefore, in conclusion, I rate this movie is a total failure!

i think PIRANHA is even more worse, though i haven't seen BURIED.
but one plus sign of PIRANHA is that, at least we can see nice chicks ^^ to compensate for the lousiness i suppose
