High Tea @ Francis Light Heritage - Suffolk House, Penang

Today is a good weather without rain in the afternoon. Therefore, we have decided to try on the tea @ Suffolk House. A historical place where Francis Light use to stayed.

Thought need entrance fee but actually it only charge if you taking the tour. RM10 for self-guided & RM15 for guided. Tour hour from 10am - 6pm. But you would like to go for tea, then is from 2.30pm - 6pm. They serves fine dining dinner with splendid of wine variety from Australia, Chile and French.

The area was so nice and peace. Feel so comfortable sitting open air tea area, facing the garden view.

The inclusive English Tea promo are quite worth it but too bad no cheese cake and it's just some normal sponge cake only...nothing special on the cookies too. But I like those displayed on the 3 layer. All is the yummy yummy food! Tuna pie, scone and sandwiches ~~

While enjoying the tea and chit-chatting, I also never forget to pose for photo! HaHaHa!

We leave this nice place around 8pm then off to home. ^_^ It was a nice place to gather and mingle around. The Garden was so nice and is a suitable place for Garden Wedding too! But ofcos, it will be a bit grand and pricey =P 

Kek Lok Si Temple Visit

Sunday, I decided to bring my sis to Kek Lok Si Temple since she said she can't recall she been there before! He! He! He!

While driving along the way before we reach Kek Lok Si, I saw a familiar hawker stall selling pasembur which my ex-colleague brought me once few years back when we have a free and easy Penang trip. Therefore, I park my car roadside and get my sis to take away 1 small pasembur.

After we parked the car, we walked toward the hawker stall for late lunch >_< around 1.30pm. We ordered nutmeg drinks, laksa, lobak & ice kacang.

After the food, we start to walked up the Kek Lok Si Temple. It was damn damn hot! The sun like burning me...but it's started to cloudy..I beh tahan until go get a hat to cover my head & hair...

After that we headed to the temple..luckily it was not that warm inside as I remembered the time I went few years back..walaoyeh! It was super duper hot!!! Sweat from outside till inside leh! But I sweat also la, just sweat around the face lo =P HaHaHa!

Then I tried on my shooting skill on the candle using my semi-pro DSLR Lumix FZ-28=p

We suppose to take the tram to the hilltop for the Guan Yin but then the tram was having some technical problem and outside was started to rain drizzlingly. I can see many ppl inside the tram trapped and the women from the ticket counter keep caling for the technical but stupid lo..the technician just dun understand the situation and get the counter women keep repeating and explaining the scenario to him. I wonder why he didn't turn up support since is weekend. He should provide the support during the peak season! Walaoyeh...beh dong (cannot move)...>__< then we decided to drive up to the hilltop by my little VIVA! nyek nyek nyek!

Luckily my driving skill past and pro :P So, about 10 mins drive we arrived. (luckily we smart enough to change our plan from tram to car, more comfortable since is raining). Once we arrived, the rain started to stop.. ^_^ So lucky! HEHeHE!

Loud Fest Asia Autocity

The night before Saturday, I was thinking where shall I go for some sight seeing or photo shooting. But, it was quite a surprised that my sis came up to visit me and filled my weekend here.

Therefore, I've make some planned for since it was her 15 yrs later Penang re-visit! I've heard there's a concert at Autocity from a friend of mine but he can't give me the event name or even organizer but just the idol he wanted to meet was performing there. =P So, I google the event during afternoon time when my sister having a nap due to her long hour midnight journey from KL together with her friend.

I finally found that eventually it was a live concert sponsored by Magnum and host by One FM radiostation with many taiwan, china and local singers.

So, in order to provide my best hospitality, I started my engine and drive her to this place 1st time by myself depart at 630pm from house. Funny thing is, I thought this place was at Perai, so once exit toll, I keep left and followed the sign board till Perai....then once passed by the Megamall, @_@ only realized...KNS lo! Wrong way jor...then I started to call my friend asking for the direction.

Finally we reach Juru, but I saw Autoworld but not Autocity, and that time I miss the junction too...so I thought is different place or perhap there will be other alternative road. Ended it lead me to the main road (Highway back to Penang!) The closer I see the toll station, I started to feel that I need to turn back but ...THERE'S NO WAY FOR ME TO MAKE U -TURN! Walaoyeh...so ended how? Ma ended go back Penang then come out again lo...@_@ Then my sis started curious ask me, how many round I need to drive on this Penang bridge only to reach the destination? =_=''' Cos in total up n down already 3 rounds on the bridge.. so blur...from sunset till night...Jialat >__<

Then, I called my friend again, this time I followed the right signboard which is (Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur). At first, I was worry that it will direct me to Ipoh so i called again my friend and he confirmed we have to go through this signboard, so OK lo...i continued drive until I see Juru exit.

Finally...it's already 815pm @_@ so near yet so slow, from sunset till night...kns..damn lousy me. It was raining drizzling and the open car park was so wet wet wet...upon arrived there's a place for FREE fun game and FREE goodies if you won the game. Sponsored by Station Once Cafe & Carlsberg.

After finish trying and winning those FREE game...The concert was just next to this freebies counter..but the singers all wasn't ready on stage yet so we walked around for our dinner.

We tried on the Thai food cafe since is open air but some shaded sit available too. At the same time, while we enjoyed our dinner we can hear the live concert behind us. It was loud indeed and hardly can chat with my sis, so we just enjoy the Thai food and busy snapping photo. HaHaHa!

This Thai food taste so nice. Out of so many, the prawn in bread is my favorite! The tomyam seafood soup is 2nd! But overall taste good

After the delicious dinner, and the rain stopped. We walked to the concert zone and listened to the remaining singer to performed. I was quite impressed without the sound system and the lighting used together with the digital background. It was nice!

The concert think ended around 11+pm..cos we tired of standing so we decided to shop around the flea market while listening to the live concert.  =P

After that, we straight headed home to bath and then sleep lo~~

Wow! Time flies and happy moment always past without turning back or holding back...I past my Birthday!

My very first Birthday countdown away from home...

Thought I will be celebrating somewhere else with someone special on this special day.. unfortunately...I was away from the place I used to hang out and was situated at a total new faces and new environment...
Well, although start everything in new but I am still pretty happy to be here compare my hectic life with unhealthy lifestyle back at KL/ PJ.

This day are coming, but I am alone here...I've been thinking where and how to have a perfect night or day?! KeKeKe! Time flies, nothing special on this coming day and my number is getting closer and closer to those 30's. I can see the group of people are waiting for me with the "Welcome" board! Walaoyeh >__< anzua? anzua?

Hmm...perhap waiting for surprises? Hmm... or perhap will meet someone special at some special place?? It's my imagination again...

The older you bcom, more boring you will feel when this day coming. Exception for those got sweet sweet couple or husband and wife la..else b'day is just sibeh sien...sien ...and sien...

Lantern Festival @ 2010

Wonder how a single lady who stay abroad spent this special day all by herself? He!He!He!

After work, me & my housemate promised to go for dinner together since we both are not local. But we don't have much reference on where to have some good food with some good view..

Therefore, after we meet each other at home. She drives me to Batu Ferringgi and round for dinner. Unfortunately, the traffic there was not so smooth and we was stucked in a jam for almost 1 hr..walaoyeh...

My hsemate was asking me wat to have because she wanted to celebrate this mooncake festival together with my early birthday celebration. Therefore, I told her is there any place for chinese traditional feeling with some chinese cuisine or perhap nyonya cuisine?

Before I finish work, I've been asking around for any nice place to dine in and at the same time will have some nice interior and comfortable place. But too bad, nobody able to feedback me with good place...

While we jam, suddenly i spot a nice logo along the roadside. A old heritage house..it was not so attractive from the outside..but then I can't stop my eyes to search for what this building is...then...I saw "Nyonya Cuisine". Wow! This is great, I straight ask my hsemate why not we try turn in and see since we also stuck in the jam? So, she agreed and turn the car in.

When we first step in the building, is a surprise for me! Cos, my dream came true! Thanks god for fulfilling my dream and desired ^_^

The place was nice and decorate with many hanging lamp and also some antique object with alot of nyonya / local picture frame. This place is awesome!!

I feel so comfortable dining in this restaurant although the food they recommended was not so nice. But there's many specialty from the menu. Price is quite reasonable too except the chrysanthemum charging RM3 per cup. Total bill came out for 2 person is RM57.10 including 10% tax.

Perhap next round, I try order myself instead of letting the waitress to introduce as she is not so good in food balancing =P

Little note: If anyone of you wanted to bring a new bf or gf to a quite place where you can talk to each other until the moon fall, perhap this is the right place to hang out.

I am the Horoscope Physic XD

This morning when I was working in my cubicle, suddenly a colleague (Miss B) of mine mentioning about Birthday gift collection offered by the company.

I forgotten that this new company provided such good benefit for employee birthday list. Anyway, this is not the main point...then they talk talk talk and my boss (Miss A) mentioned she and another colleage (Miss B) which sitted in same cubicle eventually have the same Birth month. We have 4 peoples in our team and so the horoscope physic a.k.a me started to guess their horoscope =P

She mentioned she and another colleague was June baby..therefore, I straight away ask are they Gemini? And...YES! They are! ^-^ Then somehow, Miss B talked to Miss C on her birth month too, Miss C voiced up her birth month with January! HaHaHa! So, I ma keh po (busybody) directly asked her is her horoscope Aquarius? Then so-coincidently...she is! Then she laughed and this surprised her cos I'm guessing the horoscope all in sudden and the funny thing is all BINGO! =P

Then at that time, in my mind, I was thinking, perhaps is this destiny? This new place, new people...are they really the one god assign for me? How come so co-incident that my best match horoscope partner fall on them? And also, this new job was also predicted to be confirm twice by 2 different fortune teller!

Don't get me wrong o, I don't really believe what fortune teller said or superstitious but then this year eventually I visited 2 fortune teller. I never go and meet such person before this but due to my bad luck I had so I was curious to find out is there a way for me to escape or out of the bad bad day? So, ended what the fortune teller said was quite match with what I encountered and then I will only link it together and make it a 50% 50% "no-harm to believe" thing lo! =P kekeke!

So, I happily inform them I found them all my best match =D so we shall work happily together! ^_^

Mooncake Festival @ 2010

Sadly this year, I got to celebrate this chinese tradition festival alone. A total new life sometime really need to overcome the loneliness without much close friend and family around.

The moon is so round when I look at the sky...but then received a sadly email from another friend of mine, whom also going to celebrate this special day by herself..which she  used to celebrate together with her boyfriend. But she is back to single life, therefore...she sent me her feeling on this coming day..

Anyway, before I received her email, I have not much feeling or feel differently on this coming day...cos I seldom celebrate it. If back to KL life, ofcos is different! Probably will have BBQ with friend or family...

Hmm...after reading her mail...made me think about this coming festival too...How should I celebrate this year in a new place and new faces?? If not cos of certain personal reason, and made me have to do everything in such a low profile? ...cos why? Cos of keep being stalk and pester! What a man! NO, should be What a boy! KNS!

Anyway, I already numb with such a childish person and already decided to ignore until my last breath! Therefore, back to the main topic...=P thinking what should I do on this coming festival?

Miss the BBQ session, but don't feel like time is allow for me to prepare such thing, somemore with a few kitten? Aiseh...now make me have to think how to pass this coming festive...

I wonder how those ex-patriot able to do it when it comes to seasonal festival and got to celebrate it all by themself? Hmm...

Perhap find a nice chinese restaurant and eat all I can? Or perhap find a place where there's a lantern festival and trying to self entertain by snapping the photo as much as I can? Ha! Ha! Ha! Really odd and weird...@_@

Anyway...tomorrow will be the day...let it be la...

Guinea Pig for Makeup Modeling =P

Last Saturday, my ex-colleague was asking me to become her guinea pig for her makeup lesson =p

Anyway, I promised her and went for the makeup center nearby Sunshine @ Tmn. Lip Sin. Forgot what the center name but anyway, she is learning her makeup..then the topic for the day is to have a look as per requested by model.

So..I have requested to make my eye turn BIGGER! LOlxx! So, she suggested to have a smoky smoky eye for my single eye lid princess =P

We took a photo of before makeup and been sitted for almost 2 hrs..tough makeup =S until my tears almost fall liow..cos eye too tired keep opening ma..hahaha!

Finally, after few comment by me and her mentor, she corrected and adjusted on some color balancing especially on my eye...here goes my after look! The big big round round eye of Princ3ssAngi3!! ^_^ but then I see my nose become so big with this close shot! >__< alamak...

Yong Tau Fu @ Bayan Baru

It's lunch time, I have no idea where and what for lunch. Followed the group to a new place for lunch noodle.

When I first reach the restaurant, the displayed food attracted me so much and cant resist to order all in one go! HaHaHa! It was so tempting! The yong tau fu.... so many variety!

I order their famous Hakka noodle. Portion is just nice for me but then I don't think is filling for those big eater =P kekeke!

The fried chicken wing damn jeng (nice)! Is marinated!
